FAQ

Do I need a full relace?

Not always! Sometimes, a partial relace is plenty. The most important parts of the glove are the web and fingers. If you’re wondering what needs to be relaced, start there. If all of the other laces look to be in good shape, stick to a partial and do the full thing next year.

That being said, once one lace breaks, it;s more likely that the others aren’t far behind. If you’re going to do more than one part of a glove, we recommend you go ahead and do the whole thing.

What is the turnaround time?

Turnaround time is usually 3-10 days. This is subject to change throughout the year.

Need it by a specific time? Expidited service is available for an aditional fee.

What are my lace color options?

If you can think of it, we probably have it. When requesting your quote, just ask.

How often should I be conditioning my glove?

If you’re asking this question, the answer is probably “Right now”. We recommend at least once a month, possibly more during the season.

Your glove will tell you when it needs conditioner. If it feels dry, go ahead and put some conditioner on it. That’s the beauty of Ball Player’s Balm Pro Glove Conditioner it’s really hard to over-saturate your glove. If the glove doesn’t absorb it, it doesn’t need it and you can wipe it right off.

How often should I be cleaning my glove?

You only need to deep clean your glove about once a year. If you do it too much, you can wear out the leather faster.

The exception to this is if you play an exceptionally dirty game. In that case, it’s a good idea to wipe the glove down with a damp rag and some cleaner (if needed).

Whatever you do, MAKE SURE YOU CONDITION YOUR GLOVE AFTER CLEANING IT! Cleaning a glove dries it out, so it’s important to replace the lost moisture.
